With spectacular views of the Opera House and Bridge, this house was in desperate need of a reconfiguration and refurbishment. The existing house was an uninspiring, featureless box that had minimal connection to the view and rear yard; as well as an awkward internal layout with out-of-date finishes. By opening up the living level from front to back, a flexible and light-filled space was achieved that serves the particular needs of this growing family. In addition, the spaces were re-finished throughout, providing a dramatic and fresh new look that has significantly improved the lifestyle of its inhabitants.
